This course explores various genres of English and some other European literature, including novels, short stories, plays and poetry.

But what does it mean?

Well..

We'll read books (click links for assignments),

like Macbeth and All Quiet on the Western Front

and others such as In Country or The Collector or Ordinary People or Kite Runner

(or any of maybe a dozen others)

Not to mention the books you select yourselves!

And we'll write:

personal essays

analytical essays,

short stories,

poems,

journal entries,

online conversations,

critiques,

and whatever else comes to mind

And we'll talk:

about all of the above and anything else

And all of this for the low, low price of...

Well, free!
